Digital Vernier Caliper INSIZE 1108 Series can be used to check the external dimensions of shafts, rods, plates, blocks and manufactured components. The smaller upper jaws are used for checking internal dimensions such as hole diameter, slot width, and other openings. The integrated depth rod allows users to measure holes, grooves, recesses and cavities. Step measurement can also be made when the difference between two surfaces needs to be checked. For more stable depth readings, the optional 6140 depth base attachment can be fitted.
This four-way measuring capability makes the 1108 Series useful when different dimensional checks need to be carried out with one instrument.
Clear Digital Measurement with Data Output
The LCD screen displays the readings directly, so you don’t have to interpret the scale markings. The 0.01 mm resolution allows for fine dimensional checking and the mm/inch conversion means that measurements can be taken to match both metric and imperial engineering drawings.

The optional 7315-25 transmitter provides wireless transfer to a receiver. The calliper also automatically turns off when not in use and turns back on when you move the slider, a feature which assists in saving the CR2032 battery.

The product adopts stainless steel as the main measuring body; Rigid construction assists in maintaining the same position of the jaw throughout routine measurements, and is also suitable for industrial environments. Its smooth sliding action allows easy alignment of the movable jaw against a workpiece before taking the measurement.
